Merck is committed to helping transitioning service members and other veterans pursue their career goals after their military service.

Merck has joined the 100,000 Jobs Mission, a growing coalition of companies who aim to hire at least 100,000 veterans by 2020.

Launched in March 2011, the coalition is committed to hiring veterans, reporting results and sharing best practices on recruiting, hiring, training, assimilating and retaining veterans.

"We appreciate the skills veterans have already honed in the military, like leadership and innovative thinking," said Sandra Tango, senior staffing consultant, Merck, and army logistics officer with 12 years in the National Guard.

And, whenever I've needed to answer the call, Merck has been there for me," said John Chacko, senior analyst, IT Compliance, Merck, and U.S. Marine Corps officer with 20 years active duty and reserves.
