Flex 2002 Information and Tools
Flex 2002 open enrollment will be held from October 15 through November
2, 2001. With this deadline just around the corner, it’s up to you to get
ready—by evaluating your current benefits, considering all the health care
changes highlighted here, making coverage decisions for 2002 and enrolling
early.
As always, Merck will
provide you with flex enrollment materials; however, in keeping with the
Company’s operating priorities, this year’s kit will minimize paper and
maximize technology like never before. Everything you need to know about
flex benefits will be available online through Merck’s intranet (and most
communications will be available on the internet too). At home, you’ll receive
Flex 2002 Personal Summary Pages only (with information about the
benefits options available to you—and their associated costs). However,
most Company-provided benefits information and many decision-making tools
will be available electronically during flex open enrollment.
