Merck offers positions for college students at many levels, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, our interns and co-ops (comprised of some of the best and brightest college students), have the opportunity to showcase their many skills through projects that make a real impact. Future Talent Program Highlights

  • All Future Talent Program assignments are paid positions.
  • Merck recruits individuals pursuing a wide variety of degrees including BS, Masters, PhD, MBA and DVM, spanning across multiple disciplines.  Visit our Career Choices section to learn more on Merck's functional areas.
  • A typical internship is between 10-12 weeks during the summer;  co-op assignments may occur at any time during the year and last three or more months.
  • Our Future Talent assignments can be located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, California and Puerto Rico.
  • Summer interns may be eligible for subsidized housing accommodations and daily transportation.

Future Talent Program assignments provide a unique outlet for increasing your knowledge and understanding of Merck and the pharmaceutical industry – from training sessions, to mentors, to opportunities to meet with members of senior management and discuss company strategy.
