• Merck will begin reporting in 2010 the number of doses shipped through the GARDASIL® Access Program.
• Through the GARDASIL Access Program, Merck has pledged to donate at least three million doses of GARDASIL® [Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent (Types 6, 11, 16, 18) Vaccine, Recombinant] over five years to support vaccination in the lowest-income countries.
• The operational experiences and lessons learned by organizations participating in the GARDASIL Access Program will be widely disseminated in an effort to contribute to the public knowledge base on HPV vaccine access in lowest-income countries.
• Axios Healthcare Development (AHD) will convene the GARDASIL Access Program Advisory Board twice a year to review incoming applications, following each semi-annual application deadline.
