Getting Started—How to Navigate the Site

Navigation choices on left side of each page

Search allows you to quickly search for a specific term. Just enter the term in the box and click “Search.”

Index is much like an index found in a printed book. Click on a letter in the index to retrieve index terms starting with that letter.

Sections are listed in alphabetical order. Click on a section title for a list of all chapters within that section.

Resources lists special material. Click on an item to view its contents.

Breadcrumb navigation at the top of each page

Not only does the navigation area show you exactly where you are (what section, chapter, and topic you are in), it also contains links to the section page and to all other topics in the chapter. Click on a link to go back to the section page or to navigate through the topics.

“Previous” and “Next” navigation at the bottom of each page

Each topic page contains a Previous or Next link (or both) at the bottom of the page. Click on these links to navigate through the topics.
