Tube Feeding

A solution of nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, trace minerals) can be delivered directly to the gastrointestinal tract through a thin plastic feeding tube. The tube may be inserted directly into the stomach or intestine through a small incision in the abdominal wall.
