Conjunctivitis
The eye is bloodshot with creamy, thick discharge. In this case, inflammation of the eyelid was caused by infection with a bacterium. A bloodshot eye is characteristic of conjunctivitis, and a thick discharge is characteristic of bacterial conjunctivitis.
