Merck to Hold Third-Quarter 2008 Sales and Earnings Conference Call on Oct. 22

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., Sept. 26, 2008 - Merck & Co., Inc. will hold its third-quarter 2008 sales and earnings conference call with institutional investors and analysts beginning at 9 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, Oct. 22.  During the call, Richard T. Clark, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Peter N. Kellogg, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Kenneth C. Frazier, executive vice president and president, Global Human Health, will provide an overview of Merck's financial performance for the quarter plus 2008 and 2010 financial guidance.
