Merck Announces Third-Quarter 2009 Dividend

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., May 27, 2009 - The Board of Directors of Merck & Co., Inc., meeting today, declared a quarterly dividend of $0.38 per share on the company’s common stock for the third quarter of 2009.

The $0.38 per share dividend is payable on July 1, 2009 to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 8, 2009.
