Merck to Hold Guidance Conference Call and Web Cast on Dec. 4

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., Nov. 12, 2007 - Merck & Co., Inc. will conduct a conference call with institutional investors and analysts beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, Dec. 4.  Continuing its past practice, during this call, Richard T. Clark, chairman, chief executive officer and president, and Peter N. Kellogg, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will provide an overview of the 2008 financial guidance.
