Merck to Hold Fourth-Quarter 2007 Sales and Earnings Conference Call and Webcast on Jan. 30

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., Jan.  1, 2008 - Merck & Co., Inc. will hold a fourth-quarter 2007 sales and earnings conference call with institutional investors and analysts beginning at 9 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Jan. 30.  During this call, Graeme Bell, executive director, investor relations, joined by Richard T. Clark, chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Peter N. Kellogg, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will provide an overview of Merck's financial performance for the quarter.
