Merck to Hold First-Quarter 2008 Sales and Earnings Conference Call and Webcast on April 21

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., March 20, 2008 - Merck & Co., Inc. will hold a first-quarter 2008 sales and earnings conference call with institutional investors and analysts beginning at 9 a.m. EDT on Monday, April 21.  During this call, Graeme Bell, vice president, investor relations, joined by Richard T. Clark, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Peter N. Kellogg, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Kenneth C. Frazier, executive vice president and president, Global Human Health, will provide an overview of Merck's financial performance for the quarter.
