Self-Acceptance

Self-awareness and comfort with oneself is the foundation on which all other types of intimacy are built. A person who practices self-honesty and self-acceptance is best able to be honest with, accepting of, and loving toward another person in an intimate relationship, no matter what form that relationship takes.
