CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE

Are you at risk?

Heart disease remains the number one killer worldwide, cutting across social, economic and geographic boundaries. Since 1984, more women than men have died each year from heart disease. It is more deadly than all forms of cancer combined, causing 1 in 3 women's deaths each year.

While there has been much progress in understanding and treating cardiovascular disease in the last sixty years, it continues to be an enormous public health challenge around the globe.

Merck remains committed to raising awareness of the disease and the importance of making heart-health a daily commitment.
