Merck to Hold Guidance Conference Call and Web Cast on Dec. 4

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., Nov. 24, 2008 - Merck & Co., Inc. will conduct a conference call with institutional investors and analysts beginning at 8:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 4.  Richard T. Clark, chairman, chief executive officer and president, and Peter N. Kellogg, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will provide an overview of the 2009 and the 2005 to 2010 long-term financial guidance during the call, which is consistent with its approach last year.
