Ginkgo Bioworks, the leading horizontal platform for cell programming, announced a collaboration with Merck, known as MSD outside of the United States and Canada, to engineer up to four enzymes for use as biocatalysts in Merck’s active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing efforts.
