Merck Announces Third-Quarter 2012 Dividend

At their meeting today, the Board of Directors of Merck & Co., Inc.
declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per share on the company’s common
stock for the third quarter of 2012. Payment will be made on July 9,
2012 to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 15, 2012.
