ABOUT US
Merck Medicus™ continues in the tradition of The Merck Manuals by sharing high-quality medical information with healthcare professionals.
Introduced in 2001, Merck Medicus is a medical education and health information website for healthcare professionals in the U.S. Outside of the U.S., the site is known as Univadis and provides information for healthcare professionals in 36 countries and in 17 languages. Together, the Merck websites deliver the latest medical news, clinical research, medical images and patient education resources in over 60 specialties.
The content is provided by independent third parties such as scientific leaders, educational institutions, and medical societies. A collaboration with the JAMA Network®, a consortium of medical journals and interactive content, was announced in 2012. No-cost downloadable articles from The Lancet® as well as educational modules from BMJ Learning® are also available. The Merck Medicus staff continually collaborates with a global editorial committee of healthcare professionals from a wide range of specialties to identify the information that Merck Medicus and Univadis users will find most helpful.
