aspen ideas festival


This year, Merck for Mothers was a presenting sponsor at the Aspen Ideas Festival. In turn, they were able to nominate three Merck employees to be Aspen Scholars.

The Aspen Ideas Festival is an annual gathering of leaders from around the globe who come together to discuss ideas and issues that shape our lives. “Aspen Scholars” are a part of that group and are selected for their work, accomplishments, and ability to transform ideas into action.

Merck’s Aspen Scholars — Dorothy Robinson and Erika Carbray, Nicole Pulli — participated in the opening segment of the fest, called Spotlight Health, which focuses on cutting-edge ideas in health and medicine. They share their experiences below.
